Pakistan-Air Vice Marshal Shahryar Khan of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) celebrated Pakistan’s victory in the 1965 war, describing it as a crucial struggle for the nation’s integrity and survival.

Despite facing a much larger enemy force, Pakistan’s military managed to protect the country and thwart the adversary’s ambitions.

“The Pakistan Air Force met the nation’s expectations during the conflict,” Air Marshal Khan said. He highlighted the PAF’s crucial role in preventing the Indian army from capturing Lahore, noting that enemy advances were effectively repelled.

He also commended the Pakistan Army for its bravery, particularly singling out the courage of its soldiers, known as the “Shahbaz.”

These courageous individuals ensured that no enemy territory was gained, upholding Pakistan’s sovereignty with steadfast determination.

The observance of the 1965 war underscores the resilience and unity that have been fundamental to Pakistan’s defense strategy.
