Karachi – The second day of the PCB Regional Inter District Senior (Karachi Region) Cricket Tournament witnessed dominant performances, with Zone-II overpowering Zone-I by 10 wickets, thanks to deadly bowling spells by Israr Ahmed Awan and Saifullah.
At the KCCA Stadium, Zone-II showcased complete control over the game, dismissing Zone-I for 97 in the first innings and 138 in the second innings. Israr Ahmed Awan delivered a match-winning performance, taking 6 for 74 in the second innings and a match tally of 12 for 136. Saifullah chipped in with 5 for 5, wrapping up the innings with remarkable economy.
Zone-II, in response, posted 229 in the first innings and chased the required 7 runs without losing a wicket, finishing at 9/0 in just 2 overs. They collected 9 points from the match.
