The Chinese multi-national logistical company Zhejiang Eman Supply Chain Management co. LTD donated more than 6.6 million to the embassy of Pakistan for the flood affectees.
Eman Lee the CEO of the company said that Pakistan is facing the most severe flooding in 30 years has submerged large swathes of homes in different cities of Pakistan, leaving residents without food sources.
“I was very upset after seeing the flood disaster video from Pakistan. Eman Logistics has had thousands of customers in Pakistan in the past 18 years. Some of our customers also have their warehouses flooded, causing a lot of losses. Pakistan has always been China’s best friend and brother country, Pakistan is always the first to donate to China every time China faced any disaster”, she added
She also said that as a Chinese, she is honored to be awarded as the Pakistan Trade and Investment Counselor. Therefore, she believes that she has the responsibility and obligation to contribute to Pakistan. In addition to her own donations and calling on her friends to donate to Pakistan’s flood disaster, a total of more than RMB 200,000 donations have been donated.

“I hope that our company can help some people affected by the disaster, and hope that the flood disaster in Pakistan can get better as soon as possible with the help of more people. Added that the floods are merciless, and there is love in the world. Our company will, as always, contribute our strength to China-Pakistan trade exchanges, and continue to contribute our strength to the reconstruction and restoration of normality after the floods in Pakistan”, she mentioned.
Eman Lee hopes that with the support of the Pakistani government, they can open up a blue ocean in East Asia and make some contributions to the construction of China and Pakistan, adding that they are specialized in food, household, raw materials, equipment, and other bulk goods imported to China’s ports, as well as entrepot trade services in surrounding countries.
Earlier, Pakistan Ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque held an interactive session with members of the Pakistani community at the Pakistan Embassy in Beijing and briefed them on the fund-raising and other efforts being carried out for flood-hit people in Pakistan.
