Chinese Ambassador Reaffirms Support for Pakistan Amid Tensions

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) – President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed concern that India’s actions pose a threat to regional peace and stability.

During a meeting at Aiwan-i-Sadr with the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Mr. Chiang Zai Dong, the two leaders discussed bilateral issues of significant importance. The current situation between Pakistan and India, particularly following the Pahalgam incident, was also addressed.

President Zardari voiced his concerns over India’s recent irresponsible and aggressive statements, stating that these actions jeopardize regional peace and stability.

The Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed the longstanding and robust friendship between China and Pakistan, emphasizing that both nations have always stood by each other during difficult times. He thanked President Zardari for sharing Pakistan’s perspective with China and assured that China would continue to support Pakistan in its efforts to achieve peace and stability in South Asia.
