Zara Noor Abbas reflects on friendship, trust, and industry lessons
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has opened up about the end of her friendship with fellow actress Sajal Aly, addressing rumors and public speculation.
Speaking on actor Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast, Zara responded to questions about Sajal, saying, “Alhamdulillah, she’s good, and we actually spoke very recently,” despite rumors that the two had stopped communicating. When the host jokingly called her response a lie, Zara clarified, “I don’t know why people think that just because two people unfollow each other, they stop talking.”

The actress expressed frustration over negative assumptions, stating, “People always say negative things about me. Many assume I must have said something. Here, everyone talks about everyone.”
Reflecting on the experience, Zara shared lessons about trust in the industry, noting, “Not everyone who shakes your hand is truly a friend. Especially in the industry, when you shake hands, you have to check if your fingers came back safely.”
She also revealed that she has learned to be more cautious in her friendships, adding, “I used to consider everyone in my friend groups as close, but Asad used to warn me. Now I realize Asad was always right.”
