World Test Championship: Australia Remains Unbeaten, Holds Top Position

Sri Lanka is placed third, Pakistan is in fourth position, India stands fifth

SYDNEY: Australia’s victory in the second Test match against England has clarified the standings in the World Test Championship.

In the 2025–2027 World Test Championship cycle, Australia has remained unbeaten in all five of its matches, securing the top position. After losing two consecutive Test matches, England has dropped to seventh place.

The third Test match between the traditional rivals will begin on December 17 in Adelaide. South Africa currently holds the second position in the World Test Championship rankings.

Sri Lanka is placed third, Pakistan is in fourth position, India stands fifth, New Zealand has slipped to sixth, while England is at seventh place.
