A WOMEN EMPOWERMENT FILM produced by Kushbu surana showcasing the difficulties faced by women of special needs in starting their dream business, had its premiere released on 22nd January at VOX cinemas mall of the emirates, Dubai.
The producer kushbu surana is the founder & CEO of launch she. From being an award winning investment banker at Bank Of America , she went on to start a women accelerator in dubai to help women in starting their business.
Kushbu wants all women to “take the first step” and join Launch SHE to turn their dreams into reality.
Launch she initiative was started in the year 2021, with an aim to support ambitious and innovative women entrepreneurs in UAE enabling them from idea generation to a business venture. It provides counseling for the women entrepreneurs to build on generating the idea in the initial stage and then they undergo business training to develop their prototype, build their product and launch their business.
Based on this a social awarness Film – “Launch she” was launched for women of special needs. As a Social Responsibility initiative aiming for the need of diversity, equality and inclusion.
This movie was directed by niteesh mohanan under the banner avighna production. The main cast in the lead are Laurance Langdon , Emma brain and Madeline Langdon.
The movie” Launch SHE ” is about a girl, a young women of determination , on a wheelchair who’s dream is to fly a plane but is discouraged by everyone around her. She has an idol – Jessica Cox whom she admires and wants to become like her. One day when she loses hope and comes across an article in the magazine which says Launch SHE is helping women in starting their dream business and from there her life changes and her dream turns into reality.
