The world is rapidly entering the age of Artificial Intelligence. Today, platforms like ChatGPT, Replika, and other AI chatbots are not only assisting in education and professional life but also reshaping the way humans communicate. Interestingly, studies reveal that a growing number of women are spending more time interacting with these AI companions.

Research indicates that women tend to engage more openly with AI chat services compared to men. The reason lies in trust and emotional safety — women often feel that an AI chatbot won’t judge or criticize them, making it a calm and non-judgmental listener available 24/7.

Experts say that women are using ChatGPT and similar tools not only for personal reflection but also for academic and professional growth. Many female students rely on these platforms for research, presentations, and language learning, while male users often focus on technical or business-oriented uses.

According to data from Replika, approximately 65% of its users are women, reflecting how AI has evolved from a mere information tool to an emotional companion that listens, comforts, and assists.

Sociologists view this as an emerging social shift — technology is beginning to meet emotional and psychological needs.

Artificial intelligence is no longer just a machine; it has become a digital friend, especially for women who see in it a safe, trustworthy, and empathetic companion in the digital world.
