Unusual Incident Shocks Officials in Nebraska Nursing Home
Lincolnshire: In an unusual turn of events, a woman who was declared dead in the US was found alive two hours later.
The incident occurred in Lincolnshire County, Nebraska, where officials at a nursing home pronounced a resident dead without seeking medical attention.
However, officials at the residence were shocked when 74-year-old Constance Glantz showed signs of life just two hours later.
Local law enforcement officials described the incident as highly unusual. Deputy Chief Sharif Sheriff Bains remarked that I have been working for 31 years but I have never come across such a case.
According to reports, the nursing home declared the woman dead at 9:44 am on June 3, after which the body was shifted to the mortuary. However, as the lifeless body lay on the table, a staff member noticed signs of breathing.
Immediate medical attention was sought, and the woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was found alive and responsive.
It is reported that mortuary officials contacted medical authorities at 11:45 am, just two hours after the woman was declared dead.
