Meta Silent on WhatsApp Outage as Users Await Resolution

ISLAMABAD – Hundreds of WhatsApp users in Pakistan and across the globe are facing significant difficulties due to a widespread service disruption affecting the messaging platform.

Users in Pakistan, along with those in other parts of the world, have reported being unable to send and receive messages on both the mobile application and the web version of WhatsApp. Despite repeated attempts to log out and log back in, the issue persists, leaving many unable to communicate effectively.

Globally, over 1,000 users have raised concerns about similar disruptions, with 91% of them specifically reporting issues with sending messages. The ongoing outage has caused considerable inconvenience, particularly for individuals relying on WhatsApp for both personal and professional communication.

As of now, Meta, the parent company of WhatsApp, has not issued an official statement explaining the cause of the widespread service disruption. Users are hoping for a resolution soon, as the global outage continues to affect communication channels.
