Islamabad: Popular messaging app WhatsApp has released a special holiday update to make user experiences more festive for the New Year 2026. The update includes animated stickers, holiday-themed overlays, and touch-activated interactive effects designed to make chats more colorful and engaging.
According to WhatsApp, the new sticker pack will appear directly in the app’s sticker tray and can be used without any additional downloads. Users can share the stickers in personal chats, group chats, and status updates, making New Year greetings more lively and fun.
The interactive effects are triggered by specific gestures or emojis, creating short animations on the chat interface and adding a dynamic touch to conversations.
