West Indies Opt to Bat as Pakistan Make Four Changes

Port of Spain: (Sports Desk) – West Indies captain Roston Chase won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the second Test at Port of Spain on Sunday. The toss was delayed by 15 minutes after overnight rain left parts of the outfield wet.

Pakistan made four changes to their playing XI, with pacer Mohammad Abbas surprisingly left out despite his impressive performance in the opening Test. Captain Babar Azam explained that the decision was made after assessing the playing conditions.

Pakistan will rely on a refreshed lineup featuring Azan Awais, Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Awais Zafar, Ali Usman, Sajid Khan, Mohammad Ali, and Ubaid Shah.

The West Indies retained a balanced side led by Roston Chase, with Shai Hope, Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, and Shamar Joseph expected to play key roles as the hosts look to level the series.
