The word “wellbeing” refers to the state of being comfortable, healthy or happy. while on the other hands, Education is the process of facilitating learning, acquiring knowledge skills, values, beliefs and habits.
The wellbeing of student in a higher education is a critical issue that affects their academic performance, mental health and overall quality of life. There are some key factors affecting students’ wellbeing. Firstly, the demands of course work exams and deadlines can lead to stress and anxiety among students. secondly, many students struggle with the high cost of tuition, textbooks and living affects the wellbeing of students. There are some practical recommendations for universities and colleges to enhance students’ wellbeing.
Fist universities should offer counseling service and mental health resources to support students experiencing stress. Secondly, by implementing wellness program that promote physical activity, healthy eating and stress management can improve students’ wellbeing. By implementing these policies will increase the wellbeing of students.
As we know that wellbeing and economic are interrelated. The economic wellbeing of a society is closely linked to the education level of its students. Higher level of education generally leads to a higher return on investment in education and future economic productivity.
Moreover, students with good wellbeing are more likely to secure better jobs and have improved job satisfaction which will break the cycle of poverty and improved social economic status .so well educated and wellbeing population contributes to economic growth, innovation and competitiveness, during economic development and prosperity.

Although, wellbeing is an important part of economic, but it is often a neglected subject in various aspect of life. The reason behind this is lack of awareness and limited understanding of wellbeing that contributes to its neglect. However, there is a growing recognition of the importance of wellbeing and efforts are being made to prioritize it in various context.
In conclusion, the wellbeing of students in higher education is a multifaceted issue that requires a comprehensive approach. Therefore, on investing in education can be seen as an investment in future economic wellbeing of a society.
