We Want the War to End in a Better Way for Everyone: Trump

Trump Meets Zelensky at White House, Calls for "Better End to the War for All"

Washington/Islamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal/Webdesk)- Former U.S. President Donald Trump held a significant meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House, attended by ministers from Italy, France, and the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, Trump emphasized the need for a diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine conflict, stating, “We want the war to end in a better way for everyone. There is a good opportunity to stop the war in Ukraine, and we want prosperity for the Ukrainian people.”

Trump said that if matters progress positively, he is willing to organize a trilateral meeting with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine. “I don’t want a temporary solution where the fighting resumes in a year or two,” he said.

President Zelensky expressed support for Trump’s diplomatic efforts, stating, “We support President Trump’s path toward ending the war. Everyone should support efforts toward peace.”

Trump thanked Zelensky and declared, “This is not my war; it is Biden’s war.” He questioned the recent death toll figures and stressed the need to avoid returning to conflict after two years of relative peace.
