vivo Introduces V70 5G Smartphone With Advanced Photography Features
LAHORE (Web Desk) – vivo has unveiled its latest smartphone in Pakistan, the V70 5G, expanding the V Series with a device designed for portrait photography and long-range imaging. The phone’s camera system was developed in collaboration with German optics company ZEISS.
The V70 5G features a 50-megapixel ZEISS super telephoto camera with Sony’s IMX882 ultra-sensing sensor, offering a 1/1.95-inch sensor size. According to Muhammad Zohair Chohan, Director Brand Strategy at vivo Pakistan, the camera enhances low-light and long-distance photography, with a zoom range of 1x to 10x and up to 20x.
For the first time in the V Series, the device supports 4K video recording at 60 frames per second, making it ideal for capturing concerts and live performances. The phone also includes AI Stage Mode to optimize complex lighting scenarios. Additional camera features include AI Magic Landscape, creative modes like Snow Town, Aurora effects, and AI Petal Shower Portrait.
Design and durability upgrades include an aerospace-grade 6-series aluminum alloy frame, a flat display with rounded corners, and ultra-thin bezels. The V70 5G will be available in Dune Gray and Aesthetic Black.
The device sports a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and integrates a 4,200mm vapor chamber cooling system, the largest in the V Series to date. It is powered by a 6,500mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge and carries IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Security features include 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanning.
Running OriginOS 6, the V70 5G features the Origin Smooth Engine to maintain responsiveness and Origin Island for capsule-style notifications. The device will receive six years of security updates and includes productivity features such as One-Tap Transfer and vivo Office Kit.

Singer Atif Aslam has been announced as the brand ambassador for the V70 5G. The phone is available in two variants: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs169,999, and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage at Rs184,999. Pre-orders began March 3, with official sales starting March 7 across Pakistan.
The device is PTA-approved, compatible with all local networks, and comes with a one-year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a six-month accessory warranty. As part of a promotional offer, Zong 4G users will receive 12GB of free data over six months.
