Uzbek President Mirziyoyev to Visit Pakistan for Talks
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to undertake an official visit to Pakistan from February 5 to 6 on the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi announced on Monday. The Uzbek president will arrive with a high-level delegation comprising senior government officials and leading business figures, highlighting the importance both nations place on deepening bilateral cooperation.
Libyan Delegation Meets PM Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad
During the visit, President Mirziyoyev will meet the President of Pakistan and hold delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He will also address the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Business Forum, aimed at boosting trade, investment, and economic collaboration. According to the Foreign Office, discussions will cover the full spectrum of bilateral relations, including trade, energy, defense, education, regional connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges. This marks President Mirziyoyev’s second visit to Pakistan and reflects the steadily strengthening ties between the two countries, rooted in shared history, cultural bonds, and a common vision for peace and prosperity in the region.
