ISLAMABAD: Renowned Pakistani actor Usman Mukhtar has revealed that he plans to be a very different father than his own, sharing candid insights from his challenging childhood.

In a recent interview, Usman discussed the strict and harsh behavior of his father and how it shaped his perspective on parenting. “I will not be the kind of father my father was,” he said. “His approach was very strict with me. Perhaps he thought it was the right way, but for me, it wasn’t.”

The actor explained that his father’s behavior had a deep impact on him, and he is determined not to repeat the same mistakes with his daughter. “I don’t want to treat my daughter the way I was treated. But it’s also because of those experiences that I want to be a better father,” Usman added.

He reflected on how childhood experiences play a crucial role in shaping a person’s life. “If my father hadn’t been the way he was, I wouldn’t be who I am today. But I don’t want to impose the same fears or restrictions on my daughter. I care about her deeply,” he said.
