US Ambassador Donald Blome calls on Naveed Qamar, discusses ‘bilateral ties’

American foreign policy adviser and senior US State Department official Derek Chollet has said the United States stands with Pakistan in counter-terrorism, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The adviser called on Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the Pakistani Embassy in Washington on Friday and offered support in countering terrorism in the country.

Derek Chollet expressed grief over the loss of lives and property due to the suicide attack in a mosque in Peshawar.

The two dignities discussed Pakistan’s economic stability and progress toward the rehabilitation of flood-affected people.

Talking to Twitter, he also penned that The United States supports Pakistan in its fight against terrorism for everyone’s safety.

He further wrote that he conveyed to Foreign Minister Bilawal his sincere sympathies on the tragic bombing in Peshawar and talked about the development of Pakistan’s economic stability and flood recovery.

Ambassador of the United States to Pakistan, Donald Blome called on Federal Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar on Friday.

During the meeting, economic cooperation, trade initiatives, and investment opportunities were discussed with mutual interest. The US ambassador defined the strong relationship between the two countries.

On the occasion, Mr Blome stated that both countries were committed to further strengthening their relationship. He also praised the efforts of the Pakistani government to enhance economic relations.

Mr Qamar expressed confidence in the current level of economic and trade cooperation, stating that Pakistan was determined to enhance two-way trade and investment opportunities.
