US Journal Eurasia Links Terror Attacks in Pakistan to Afghan Soil

Eurasia report highlights Afghan Taliban’s failure to curb terrorism

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – According to the American publication Eurasia, recent terrorist attacks in Pakistan are directly connected to Afghan territory. The report questions the Taliban regime’s claims of progress, security, and success, stating that the United Nations does not consider their assertions reliable.

The journal highlighted that over 20 active terrorist groups in Afghanistan challenge the Taliban’s claims of maintaining security. Eurasia also pointed out that, contrary to the Taliban’s statements, Afghanistan’s economy is barely surviving, and restrictions on women’s education remain in place, according to the World Bank.

The report described Afghanistan under Taliban rule as an authoritarian regime, where transparency, rule of law, and public representation are largely absent. It warned that the Taliban cannot mislead the world with false claims to sustain their grip on power.

Previously, Eurasia Review supported Pakistan’s stance on cross-border terrorism and identified the Afghan Taliban as a threat to global security. United Nations reports have also confirmed that over 20 terrorist organizations, including Al-Qaeda and TTP, are active in Afghanistan.
