US-Iran Talks Not Over, Negotiations to Continue: Ishaq Dar

Dar confirmed that both sides are still engaged in discussions

Islamabad: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has clarified that talks between the United States and Iran are not over, despite the recent conclusion of high-level negotiations in Islamabad without a formal agreement.

According to diplomatic sources, Dar confirmed that both sides are still engaged in discussions over key demands, and the negotiation process will continue in an effort to reach a breakthrough.

JD Vance Says Iran Rejects US Deal

His statement comes after US Vice President JD Vance announced that the talks had ended without an agreement, following nearly 21 hours of intensive negotiations. He stated that the United States had presented its proposal but failed to secure Iran’s acceptance.

The negotiations, held in Islamabad with Pakistan playing a mediating role, focused on critical issues including Iran’s nuclear program, regional security, and the Strait of Hormuz. However, major differences remained unresolved, preventing a final deal.

Despite the apparent deadlock, Dar’s remarks indicate that diplomatic channels remain open, raising hopes that continued dialogue could eventually lead to progress and help sustain the fragile ceasefire in the region.
