Mystery drones raise security concerns near key US officials
US – (Web Desk) – Officials still do not know where the drones came from. The report shared this, based on two sources.
The drones seen over Fort McNair raised concern. Officials even thought about moving Rubio and Hegseth to a safer place.
But for now, they have not been moved. A senior official confirmed they are still at the same location.
The report also said the US military is more alert now. This is because of rising tension linked to the US and Israel conflict with Iran.
Reuters could not independently verify the report immediately.
The Pentagon and the US State Department did not respond to requests for comment.
Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell declined to discuss the drones with the Washington Post.

“The department cannot comment on the secretary’s (Hegseth’s) movements for security reasons, and reporting on such movements is grossly irresponsible,” he told the Post.
