US Appreciates Pakistan’s Offer to Consider Sending Troops for Gaza Peacekeeping

Washington – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that several countries, including Pakistan, have raised questions about deploying troops in Gaza and have offered to consider sending forces to help maintain peace and security. He expressed gratitude toward Pakistan for its willingness to participate.
During a press conference at the US State Department, Rubio was asked whether Pakistan had formally informed the US about its readiness to send troops to Gaza. In response, he said the US appreciates Pakistan’s offer to be part of, or at least consider, the Gaza peace plan.
Rubio explained that, in his view, countries including Pakistan still have some questions regarding the plan. Once those questions are clarified, a formal invitation could be extended to any nation willing to contribute to the Gaza Peace and Stability Force.

He added that he believes there are several countries that could be acceptable to all parties involved in the conflict and would be willing to participate in efforts to stabilize Gaza.
According to the US Secretary of State, the involvement of an internationally accepted and neutral force is crucial for peace and stability in Gaza, and consultations with various countries are ongoing.
