Urwa Hocane Denies Pregnancy Rumours After Viral Video Sparks Speculation

Karachi – Actress Urwa Hocane has firmly denied rumours suggesting she is expecting her second child, following the circulation of a viral video that sparked widespread speculation across social media platforms.

The rumours began when images and clips of Hocane in a traditional outfit surfaced online, with some angles appearing to show a baby bump. Several entertainment pages quickly picked up the content, sharing it with suggestive captions and prompting congratulatory messages from fans and even fellow celebrities.

In response to the growing buzz, Hocane took to her Instagram story to set the record straight. Sharing a screenshot of one of the posts, she wrote: “Thank you for all the love and prayers, but I’m not expecting.”

The Mushk actress further explained that the viral photos and videos were either edited or shot at an angle that created the illusion of a baby bump. She revealed that even her friends and family found the situation amusing.

“I actually enjoyed reading the headlines and receiving messages,” she wrote. “My loved ones were also entertained by the rumours.”

Urwa Hocane and her husband, singer-actor Farhan Saeed, tied the knot in December 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Jahan Ara, in January 2024. Prior to their daughter’s birth, the couple had been in the spotlight due to reported marital issues but ultimately reconciled.

In a previous interview, Hocane had expressed her desire for a large family, joking that she would love to have up to six children — a remark that may have added fuel to the recent speculation.
