Shebaz hasn’t ‘taken revenge after coming to power’
Islamabad,(Mudasser Chuhdary)_Shehbaz Sharif came down hard on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), calling the party workers’ actions “‘unforgivable crimes” that came after the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust corruption case.
Said he did not take revenge after coming to power.
Political persecution has never resulted in betterment, he said in his public address.
The history of Pakistani has been bitter, he said, recalling the political cases in the last regime.
Families were too fell victim to political persecution launched by the previous government, he maintained.
However, he added he never seconded such a step. He stressed the need for shunning such counterproductive practices for the sake of national interest.
He called for concerted efforts to cope with the challenges confronting the country.
