UN reports 1760 Palestinians killed while seeking aid in Gaza
Gaza faces deadly attacks, hunger, and an urgent humanitarian crisis.
Gaza-Israel – (Special – Correspondent / Web Desk) – The UN human rights office has reported that at least 1,760 Palestinians have died while trying to seek aid in Gaza since late May, showing a sharp increase since early August. Hospital sources confirmed that 44 more people were killed by Israeli army attacks across the Gaza Strip on Friday alone. Gaza City continues to face relentless bombing, leaving thousands trapped with no safe way to escape.
The humanitarian crisis worsens as hunger claims more lives, with Gaza’s Health Ministry reporting that 240 people, including 107 children, have died from starvation. The conflict has taken a devastating toll on both sides, with Israeli airstrikes and ground operations causing massive casualties. Overall, at least 61,827 Palestinians have died and 155,275 have been wounded, while Israel reports 1,139 deaths from the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attacks, with over 200 captured.
Global organizations urge immediate action to provide aid and protect civilians. The international community stresses the importance of safe humanitarian access and calls for a ceasefire to prevent further suffering. Families in Gaza remain desperate for food, water, and medical help amid ongoing attacks.
