London-The United Kingdom has joined “regional defensive operations” after Iranian missiles targeted several Gulf cities, escalating tensions across the Middle East. The strikes came in response to recent military actions by the United States and Israel against Iranian-linked positions.

According to officials, British forces are working alongside regional allies to strengthen air defense systems and help intercept incoming threats. Gulf authorities reported loud explosions and air defense activity as missiles were detected over key urban centers.

The latest escalation has raised fears of a wider regional conflict, with diplomatic efforts underway to prevent further retaliation. International observers warn that continued exchanges could destabilize global energy markets and heighten security risks across the Gulf.
