UK Court Orders Adil Raja to Apologize to Rashid Naseer, Pay £310,000

Adil Raja had lost a defamation case against Rashid Naseer in October of this year.

LONDON: A UK court has ordered former military officer and YouTuber Adil Raja to publicly apologize to Brigadier (Retired) Rashid Naseer.

The judge directed that the apology remain on Adil Raja’s X, Facebook, YouTube, and website pages for 28 days. Additionally, Adil Raja has been instructed to pay £310,000 in damages and legal costs by December 22.

Adil Raja had lost a defamation case against Rashid Naseer in October of this year. The decision was delivered by High Court Judge Richard Spearman KC during a court hearing. Adil Raja’s appeal against the ruling was also rejected.

Brigadier Rashid Naseer had requested the court to issue an order regarding the October judgment.

The judge specified that Adil Raja must pay £50,000 as damages and £260,000 towards legal costs by December 22. Additional legal costs will be assessed later and must also be paid by Adil Raja.
