UAE President Holds Key Talks with Oman, France, and Italy Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions
President Sheikh Mohamed, World Leaders Call for Urgent Efforts to Prevent Further Middle East Escalation
Abu Dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held separate telephone conversations today with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, to discuss the rapidly escalating situation in the Middle East and its potential implications for regional stability.
The leaders exchanged views on the recent attacks targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran and expressed deep concern over the rising tensions and the possibility of further regional destabilization.
In all three discussions, emphasis was placed on the urgent need for a coordinated international response to de-escalate the crisis. The leaders stressed the importance of prioritising diplomacy, promoting dialogue, and pursuing peaceful solutions to avoid further conflict.
President Sheikh Mohamed and his counterparts agreed on the necessity of intensifying regional and global efforts to prevent the crisis from deepening, and to protect the region’s security and the well-being of its people.
