Two wanted member of a cattle thief gang held; stolen cattle recovered
Islamabad Capital Police Golra police station team arrested two wanted members of a cattle thief gang involved in numerous theft activities and recovered stolen cattle from their possession, a public relations officer said.
Islamabad: Two wanted member of a cattle thief gang held; stolen cattle recovered. He said that, following the special directions of DIG Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Golra police team used technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending two wanted members of a cattle thief gang involved in numerous theft activities. The accused were identified as Shahid and Munir Ahmed.
Police team also recovered stolen cattle from their possession. Case was registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, said that Islamabad Capital Police team’s effective crackdown against the accused involved in criminal activities and ensured the safety of lives and property of citizens on priority basis.
Citizens are urged to cooperate with the police and report any suspicious individuals or activities through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or via “ICT-15” mobile application.
Seven outlaws arrested; weapons recovered
Islamabad Capital Police apprehended seven outlaws from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered weapons from their possession, a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Operations Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Margalla police team arrested an accused namely Shahzad Akhtar and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. The Karachi company police team arrested an accused namely Imran and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Likewise, the Nilore police team arrested two accused namely Mazhar Ul Hassan and Imran Mazhar and recovered one Kalashnikov and one 12 bore rifle from their possession. The Khanna police team arrested two accused namely Majid and Tanzeel and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession. The Noon police team arrested an accused namely Zaka Ullah and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.

Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
DIG Operations directed the police officials to further intensify the crackdown against the criminal elements. “Safety and security of the citizens is our foremost priority and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
