Security Forces Foil Suicide Attack in Bannu, Five Militants Eliminated
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Terrorists belonging to Fitna-ul-Khawarij launched a deadly attack on a security forces convoy in Bannu, resulting in the martyrdom of two brave soldiers.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations ISPR, militants attempted to carry out a suicide bombing by ramming an explosives-laden vehicle into a security forces vehicle. Troops responded swiftly and effectively, killing five terrorists during the exchange of fire.

The fallen heroes were identified as Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gulfraz, a resident of Mansehra, and Sepoy Karamat Shah from Peshawar. Both embraced martyrdom while defending the nation.
The ISPR stated that the Afghan Taliban government has once again failed to prevent its soil from being used by terrorists to carry out attacks against Pakistan. It further emphasized that those responsible for planning and facilitating the assault will face a strong and decisive response.
Security operations in the region will continue with full intensity until terrorism is completely eradicated. The armed forces reaffirmed their resolve, stating that the sacrifices of these courageous soldiers only strengthen the nation’s determination to eliminate terrorism.
