Two Lahore Police Personnel Dismissed Over Alleged Bribery Case
Dismissal Recommended for Former SHO in Nadeem Nani Wala Case
The case involves Samia Mubarak, who was arrested for allegedly driving a vehicle without a number plate and hitting a police constable.
Nadeem Nani Wala alleged that police arrested his sister to gain attention on social media and registered a case against her on the basis of false allegations.
According to Nadeem, Superintendent of Police (SP) Cantt initially released his sister after obtaining a surety bond. However, he claimed that six police personnel arrived outside his residence a few hours later.
He also explained that the vehicle’s number plate had been kept in the trunk because it was made of paper. Nadeem maintained that he had asked police to release his sister and take action against him instead.
The dismissed personnel have been identified as Mubashir, a record keeper at Defence B Police Station, and Lady Constable Gulnaz.
Meanwhile, authorities have recommended the dismissal of former Station House Officer (SHO) Bilal Arabi in connection with the matter.
The allegations surrounding the release and the reported disciplinary action remain central to the case.
