First Lady of Türkiye seeks world support for flood-hit Pakistan

Emine Erdoğan said the Turkish Red Crescent is closely monitoring the situation in Pakistan and has begun arranging urgent relief, including food, shelter, clean water, and medical assistance. She offered prayers for the victims and urged the world to respond with compassion and solidarity in this difficult hour.

Meanwhile, devastation continues across Punjab. According to the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), floods have submerged 1,769 villages, affecting more than 1.23 million people. At least 248,000 residents have been displaced, with rescue efforts underway in Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Nankana Sahib, and Rajanpur. Authorities confirmed 28 deaths, while swift operations by the army, Rangers, and Rescue 1122 have saved 148,000 animals and relocated thousands to safer ground
