Trump Offers to Mediate Between Iran and Israel
WASHINGTON: Former U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran that the United States had no involvement in the recent Israeli airstrikes on Iranian territory, but any attack on America will be met with unprecedented military force.
In a statement posted on his social media account, Trump clarified that the U.S. played no part in Israel’s assault on Iran.
He stated, “If any kind of attack is launched against us by Iran, the U.S. Armed Forces will retaliate with full strength — in a way the world has never seen before.”
Trump also added that the U.S. could easily mediate between Iran and Israel and help bring an end to the ongoing conflict.
