Trump Warns Iran Over Remaining Nuclear Facilities
US President Warns Iran As Nuclear Facilities Remain Under Consideration
WASHINGTON: (News Desk) – US President Donald Trump has claimed that one or two nuclear facilities in Iran remain to be dealt with, suggesting that the sites could be targeted within minutes, although Washington is not in a hurry to take action.
Speaking to reporters, Trump identified what he referred to as the “Mount of Axis” among the remaining facilities that could require attention. He said the United States had the capability to strike these locations within 10 minutes but indicated that no immediate action was planned.
The US president expressed satisfaction with the current situation, claiming that Iran was now under American control and insisting that Tehran would never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
Trump also indicated that Iran could seek a negotiated settlement but questioned the reliability of its leadership. He alleged that Iranian officials had a history of entering agreements and subsequently backing away from their commitments.
Asked whether the United States could initiate military action against Iran next week, Trump declined to discuss the possibility publicly, saying he would not address the matter in front of the media.
