Trump Warns Iran of “Severe Consequences” Over Nuclear Program

WASHINGTON: U.S. President Donald Trump has once again warned Iran that continuing its nuclear facility construction could lead to extremely serious consequences.

Speaking to the media after meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, Trump said Iran is actively trying to rebuild its nuclear infrastructure. He stated that if these efforts are not stopped, the U.S. would support immediate military action, adding that destroying Iran’s nuclear program may become unavoidable.

Trump emphasized that Iran should come to an agreement but acknowledged that negotiations do not always progress as planned.

Regarding his meeting with Netanyahu, Trump mentioned that the two leaders would discuss five major issues in detail.

On Gaza, Trump said the second phase of the Gaza project is expected to begin soon, along with reconstruction efforts in the area.

Responding to a question about Russia, Trump expressed anger and sorrow upon hearing reports of a Ukrainian attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s residence, but noted that establishing peace in Ukraine still faces many complex challenges.
