Trump shares graphic footage, vows to protect US interests
Trump Vows Continued Strikes Until Houthis Cease Aggression
WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump recently shared video footage of a US military airstrike targeting Houthi terrorists in Yemen, showcasing the aftermath of what was described as a devastating bomb blast.
The footage, reportedly captured by a drone, depicts approximately 70 individuals gathered in a formation, only to be engulfed moments later by a massive explosion that resulted in a large fireball and a dark plume of smoke rising into the sky.
As the camera zooms out, several vehicles can be seen in the vicinity of the blast site, which appears to be a remote area. When the smoke dissipated, numerous bodies were visible on the ground alongside a large crater.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump stated that the individuals targeted were Houthis preparing for an assault, declaring, “Oops, there will be no attack by these Houthis! They will never sink our ships again!”
While the timing of the airstrike remains unclear, it is part of ongoing US military operations against the Iranian-backed Houthi group, which has been attacking commercial vessels in the Red Sea since 2023.

Trump vowed to sustain these strikes until the Houthis cease their aggression towards US shipping. He emphasized that the relentless strikes over the last two weeks have significantly weakened the group’s capabilities.
The Houthis have reported that 58 individuals have been killed since the initiation of the airstrike campaign, highlighting the escalating tensions in the region as the US intensifies its military response.
