Trump: Pakistan, India Will ‘Figure Out’ Border Tensions”
Washington-Amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following a deadly attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) — the worst in nearly two decades — U.S. President Donald Trump expressed confidence that the two countries will manage their bilateral relations independently.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump acknowledged the longstanding conflict in the disputed region and noted his familiarity with both nations’ leaders. However, he did not confirm whether he planned to engage with them directly.
‘They’ll get it figured out one way or the other,’ he remarked. ‘There’s great tension between Pakistan and India, but there always has been.
