Trump Claims India and Russia Lost to China’s Growing Power

Trump Claims India and Russia Have Aligned More Closely with China

US – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – The comment came after Chinese President Xi Jinping hosted Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the SCO summit. The three leaders emphasized unity and strong cooperation during the meeting.

Relations between the US and these nations have been tense. India, Russia, and China have disagreed with Washington on major global issues, including the Ukraine war and international trade policies. Trump also previously accused China, Russia, and North Korea of forming a strategic alliance after they attended a military parade in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of World War II’s end.

Trump’s remarks highlight existing friction between Washington and New Delhi. His administration imposed 25% tariffs on India’s imports of Russian oil during the Ukraine conflict. The US had earlier applied similar tariffs in response to trade barriers faced by American companies in India.

Tensions grew further when Prime Minister Modi rejected Trump’s earlier claim that he had helped broker peace between India and Pakistan following a border conflict.
