Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will visit China in early 2026.

Speaking to the media, Trump said, “I will visit China in early 2026. Currently, China is paying over 50 percent tariffs. We manufacture parts for Chinese ships, but if no agreement is reached, we will stop supplying those parts.”

He added that if a deal is not made, the U.S. will impose a 157 percent tariff on Chinese goods, and business with China will come to a halt. However, he remains hopeful for a fair trade agreement with China.
