Red Bird Aviation Plane Crash Injures Two in Karnataka
KARNATAKA: A private training aircraft operated by Red Bird Aviation crash-landed in a field in Vijayapura district of Karnataka on Sunday after developing a suspected engine malfunction, leaving both the captain and a trainee pilot seriously injured, according to Indian media reports.
The light aircraft went down in Mangalore village within the jurisdiction of Babaleshwar Police Station while en route from Kalaburagi to Belagavi. Visuals from the crash site showed the aircraft overturned with its nose badly damaged on impact.

Local police rushed to the scene after receiving information, while both injured occupants were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
