Poor Road Conditions Blamed for Fatal Crash in Alpuri Area
Shangla: A devastating accident in the Alpuri area of Shangla on Monday claimed the lives of 8 members of the same family, including women and children.
The family was travelling in a jeep that fell into a deep ditch while taking a turn, killing all 8 family members on board.
According to rescue sources, the jeep was being driven from Belle Baba to Pagori when it lost control due to the dilapidated road conditions.
Residents immediately sprang into action, carrying out a rescue operation and shifting the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital Alpuri.
The police have launched an investigation into the accident, citing the poor condition of the road as the primary cause.
