According to officials, the advisory will be effective from 10:00 AM on April 10, 2026, and commuters are urged to plan their travel accordingly.

Key Traffic Instructions

GT Road (Rawalpindi to Islamabad): Heavy vehicles should use alternative routes.
GT Road (Islamabad to Rawalpindi): Traffic will be diverted; commuters are advised to follow designated routes.
Sectors F-6, G-5, and G-6: Roads around these areas will remain closed; use 9th Avenue as an alternate.
9th Avenue: Expected to face heavy traffic load; drivers should allow extra travel time.
Expressway & Srinagar Highway: Traffic flow may be affected; use service roads where possible.
