Traders Demand Action Over 9 Billion Rupee Embezzlement, Phone Blocking

Ajmal Baloch Warns PTA of Nationwide Protests if Phones Not Unblocked by Tuesday

Islamabad (Staff Reporter): President of the All Pakistan Traders Association, Ajmal Baloch, has demanded an explanation for the blocking of millions of mobile phones despite taxes being paid. “Where is the justice in blocking users’ mobile phones despite payment of taxes?” he asked. Users are distressed despite making payments. A massive embezzlement of 9 billion rupees has occurred. This should be investigated by an honest officer, and the culprits should be held accountable and arrested.
Ajmal Baloch announced that if their demands are not met by Tuesday, mobile phone retailers and dealers across the country will surround the PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) office. He expressed these views at a press conference at the National Press Club in Islamabad, accompanied by Raja Hassan, President of All Traders Welfare Association, Sheikh Adnan, President of Jinnah Super Mobile Association, Muhammad Imran, President of Blue Area Mobile Association, and Khalid Chaudhry. Ajmal Baloch, Raja Hassan, Sheikh Adnan, Muhammad Imran, and Khalid Chaudhry further stated that both mobile users and shopkeepers are facing difficulties.
Agencies are trying to undermine the government, and it seems the government fails to understand this. How does a mobile phone imported from abroad become unauthorized on the PTA website despite paying duty and obtaining approval? A mobile phone worth 100,000 rupees is being taxed at 125,000 rupees. PTA officials, after blocking phones, blame hacking to cover their incompetence and negligence. Bureaucracy and officials have left no stone unturned in destroying this country. The agency should take responsibility, compensate users immediately, unblock all blocked mobile phones, and apologize to users and shopkeepers.

The Prime Minister has already removed twelve corrupt officials from the FBR. If every agency removes twelve major corrupt officials, things can improve. They warned PTA authorities that if all blocked mobile phones are not unblocked by Tuesday, all affected users and shopkeepers will surround the PTA office, and the responsibility will lie with PTA officials. make a simple and concise head and subheadline from this
