Tosha Khana Talks; Important statement of 342 by PTI founder and Bushra Bibi has come to light
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi deny all charges in the Toshakhana gift case, calling the evidence unreliable and fabricated.
Islamabad – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – In the Toshakhana case, Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have given their official statements to the court. They both firmly deny any wrongdoing regarding the gift of a Bulgarian jewellery set. Imran Khan stated that he followed all the rules, paid for the set properly, and kept it for himself.
He strongly questioned the main witness against him, Inamullah Shah. Imran Khan said he fired Shah for taking two salaries, so it makes no sense that he would take a huge financial favor from him. He called Shah a tool of another politician, Jahangir Tareen, and said this makes the case unreliable.
When the court asked about an expensive Italian jewellery set, Imran Khan challenged the evidence. He said the anti-corruption agency, NAB, did not have the legal right to investigate that gift. He also accused the authorities of tampering with the case by pardoning another key witness without proper reason.
Imran Khan argued that the 2018 Toshakhana policy only required him to report the gifts, which he did. He stated that the FIA agency has no legal role in this matter. On these grounds, he and his wife asked the court to find them not guilty, calling this the fourth fake case made against them.

Bushra Bibi, in her statement, said she is a private woman who has never been involved in politics. She confirmed that she never asked anyone to lower the price of the gifts. She expressed that it is unfair to be punished again and again for the same accusation, which is what she feels is happening now. The couple submitted this detailed response to the special court yesterday.
