Thunderstorms Predicted in Select Sindh Districts

Mirpurkhas, Tharparker, and Umerkot forecasted for rain from September 26 to 28.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted a new wave of monsoon rainfall across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and eastern Sindh from September 26 to October 2.

Starting September 25, moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal are expected to move into the upper regions of the country.

A westerly weather system will arrive on September 26, bringing rain to various areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Chitral, Peshawar, Swabi, and Mansehra, from September 26 to October 1.

In Punjab, cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Sialkot are anticipated to experience rain during the same period, with additional rainfall expected in several districts from September 27 to October 1.

Although most regions of Sindh are expected to stay hot and dry, isolated rain and thunderstorms are forecasted in Mirpurkhas, Tharparker, and Umerkot from September 26 to 28.
