Rawalpindi(Staff Reporter);Three terrorists were killed in fire exchange on Afghan Border, According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident occurred during the night of July 21-22.

The ISPR statement revealed that three terrorists were killed following a fierce exchange of gunfire with security personnel. The clash underscored the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in maintaining border integrity.

Pakistan has formally requested the Afghan government to enhance its border management to prevent future incursions.

The statement expressed hope that the interim Afghan administration will address these concerns and prevent the use of Afghan territory for terrorist activities.

The ISPR affirmed the commitment of Pakistani security forces to safeguarding the nation’s borders and combating terrorism. This incident highlights the critical need for coordinated efforts between neighboring countries to address cross-border security threats effectively.

President Zardari’s Commendation: President Asif Ali Zardari also commended the security forces for thwarting terrorists’ infiltration attempt along the Pak-Afghan border in the Dir district ³.
