Multan-(Webdesk): At least three people lost their lives, and three others were injured in an explosion at a home-based fireworks manufacturing unit in the Delhi Gate Agha Pura area of Multan.
According to sources, the explosion caused the house’s roof to collapse, trapping seven people beneath the debris, including a woman. Rescue teams have recovered the bodies of three victims, identified as Riaz, Mansha, and Safiya Bano, along with three injured individuals.
The injured have been transported to Nishtar Hospital for treatment. One woman, Arsa, remains trapped under the rubble as rescue efforts continue.
The Inspector General of Punjab Police has taken notice of the incident and requested a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan.
