History shows us something that’s really sad: when a country tries to control its own natural resources powerful countries quickly do something to hurt it. What happened to Venezuela’s
president is not something that just happened by chance. It is not just a mistake that the security people made. It is something that was planned as part of a plan by powerful countries to try to break the spirit of a country that wants to be free. The kidnapping of Venezuela’s president was not about taking one person, it was an attack on Venezuela’s ability to make its own decisions to be a free country and to control its own natural resources like oil and gas. Venezuela’s natural
resources are very important to Venezuela. The country wants to be able to use them to help its own people. To really get what is going on with this event you have to look at it in terms of oil and the way America wants to be in charge of things. The event is, about oil politics and American imperial ambition. You have to consider how oil politics and American imperial ambition are affecting the event.
Venezuela is a country with a lot of resources but it is also a place where many countries try to exert their influence. Venezuela has the oil reserves in the world even more, than Saudi Arabia. You would think that all this wealth would make Venezuela a stable and prosperous country..
That is not what happened. Venezuela has become a place where big countries fight for power. For the United States oil is not something you use to make things run, it is a tool they use to control other countries and get what they want. The United States uses oil to make other countries do what they say and to teach countries a lesson when they do not listen. Venezuela is an example of this and oil is a big part of the problem.
President Nicolás Maduro did something that really upset people in power. He said that the oil in Venezuela is for the people not for big American companies. President Nicolás Maduro did not want to do what the United States told him to do. He wanted to make his decisions and be friends with countries like China and Russia and Iran.
The people in charge, in Washington do not like it when someone says no to them. If a country does not do what the United States wants then that country is seen as a problem. President Nicolás Maduro and Venezuela are a problem because they do not want to follow the rules made by the United States. Venezuela and President Nicolás Maduro are a threat because they want to be free and make their choices.
The kidnapping of Venezuela’s president is the part of a very long plan. The United States has a way of doing things when they want to intervene in another country. They start by making it hard for the country to do business with countries. They impose sanctions that hurt the people of that country very much. Then they use the media to tell people that the government of the country they are targeting is bad or unfair. If the country does not fall apart from the inside the United
States starts doing things to make that happen. The United States has done this times before and the kidnapping of Venezuela’s president is just one more example of what the United States does when they want to control another country. The kidnapping of a president who’s still, in office is exactly what the United States does when they are trying to take over a country.
The United States sanctions against Venezuela were not really about helping the people of Venezuela have democracy or human rights. They were meant to punish everyone in the country. These sanctions made it very hard for people to get the things they need. They stopped goods from coming into the country made it hard for people to get medicine and made it even harder for people to get food. The sanctions also made the public services in Venezuela stop working.
The people of Venezuela suffered a lot because of this. The main goal of the United States was to make life in Venezuela bad that the people would get angry with their own government. The United States wanted the people of Venezuela to turn against their government so that the government would be replaced.. This plan did not work. So the United States decided to take stronger actions, against Venezuela.
The connection between the kidnapping and private military contractors and former United States soldiers is really telling. The United States has always used mercenaries and former soldiers to do jobs that are not allowed. They call these people ” security firms”. The United States uses these people to do things that they do not want to be blamed for. These private military contractors and former United States soldiers do not work alone. They need help from someone to get the information they need the money they need and the permission they need to do their jobs. Only a powerful country, like the United States can give them the help they need. To think otherwise is just not reasonable. The private military contractors and former United States soldiers need the United States to give them what they need to do their jobs.
It is really disturbing that the international community is being so quiet about this. If the president of a country that’s friends with the United States had been taken away the whole world would be talking about it. There would be meetings at the United Nations and people would be very angry about it on the news.. Because Venezuela is not a country that always agrees with the United States, the rest of the world is not saying much. This shows that the international community is not being fair. The fact that they are not speaking out against what happened to the president of Venezuela shows that they do not really care about doing what is right. Venezuela is being treated unfairly. The international community should be talking about it. The silence of the community is very loud and it shows that they are not really committed, to the rules that they say are important. Venezuela is a country that is being ignored. It is not right.
The United States does not want things to be calm in Venezuela; it wants Venezuela to do what it says. What the United States really wants is to have a government in Venezuela that will listen to it. This government will sell the oil fields to companies, let American businesses come in and sell their things, stop being friends with countries that the United States does not like and do what Washington tells it to do.
The United States kidnapped people to make things crazy in Venezuela to make it so there is no one in charge and to make it seem like Venezuela needs help from countries. The United States says it wants to help Venezuela. Really it just wants to be, in charge of Venezuela. Venezuela is the thing here and the United States wants to control Venezuela.
This is not something that might happen it is something that has happened before. Iraq was completely destroyed because people said they had weapons of destruction. Libya was left in ruins because people said they were helping the people who lived there. Afghanistan was taken over for twenty years. People said it was for freedom. Every time this has happened the result is that the country is destroyed, broken into pieces and needs help for a time. Venezuela is now being pushed toward the terrible situation. Venezuela is facing the kind of problems that Iraq and Libya and Afghanistan faced. The result will be devastation the country will be broken into pieces and Venezuela will need help for a time just like Iraq and Libya and Afghanistan.
Wherever the United States gets involved democracy falls apart. It does not get stronger. The country loses its power to make its decisions its institutions become weak and its people start to fight with each other. The United States promises to free these countries. It really just wants to take control of them. Venezuela did not do anything by being a dictatorship it did something wrong by being independent. The president of Venezuela was taken away not because he was mean to his people. Because he would not give up the country’s natural resources to the United States. Venezuela’s problem was that it wanted to be free and make its own decisions and the United States did not like that. The United States wants countries, like Venezuela to do what it says. It gets angry when they refuse.
This thing that happened is a deal and it is not just a problem for Latin America. It is a warning to all countries that are still growing: if you want to be in charge of your oil, gas or minerals; if you do not want to do what other countries tell you to do with your economy; if you want to
make friends with countries other than America. Then you have to be careful because your leaders might be in danger. Nowadays it is not always necessary to use force to change a
government. Sometimes it starts with the country not letting you buy or sell things and it ends with someone important being taken away. The event is a warning to all developing nations like the ones, in Latin America.
Oil is really important for the world to function. Long as the world needs Oil, powerful countries will keep trying to control the countries that have Oil. What is happening in Venezuela is not the case it is a classic example. Venezuela’s situation shows the fight between being in charge of your country and being controlled by others, between being proud of your nation and being taken advantage of by powerful countries that want Oil.
The real question is not whether the kidnapping was justified. The real question is how long the world will tolerate a system where powerful states violate sovereignty without consequence.
When oil speaks, morality falls silent. And until this imbalance is challenged, Venezuela will not be the last victim.
