Terrorists have no other purpose but to create division among Muslims,Ebrahim Raeis

Iran condemned the terrorist attack in Pakistan,

Tehran- -Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi said Tehran is firmly ready to counter extremism in all its forms.

In a message condemning the cowardly act of terrorism in the Balochistan of Pakistan, the President said: This blind act has once again shown that the terrorists, with their ignorance and distance from the merciful teachings of Islam, have no other goal than to create division among Muslims.

Ayatollah Syed Ibrahim Raisi, in a message to the President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alavi, while expressing his sympathy with the government and people of Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Balochistan’s mastung region, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of innocent people, said: The Islamic Republic Iran is resolutely ready to cooperate with Pakistan to fight against any manifestations of terrorism and extremism and wants the international community, especially the Islamic countries, to seriously react to this criminal act and prevent the repetition of such tragic events.

The Iranian president expressed hope the perpetrators would be identified and punished as soon as possible.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani also condemned the acts of terrorism and said the attacks are “a clear example of terrorists’ aloofness from the merciful teachings of the Prophet of Islam”.

Earlier in the day, at least 54 people were killed while more than 100 were wounded in a mosque blast that took place in Balochistan’s Mastung district.

Another bomb blast occurred at a mosque located in the Doaba police station in KP’s Hangu city, leaving four people martyred and five wounded.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ناصر کنعانی Naseer Kan’ani considered the terrorist act against the Pakistan Muslims at the same time as the march and celebration of the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad PBUM as a clear example of terrorists’ distance from the merciful teachings of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).

While condemning this act of terrorism, Kanani expressed his condolences to the government and people of Pakistan, especially the survivors of the victims, and wished the injured good health and speedy recovery.
