Pakistan's security forces remain determined to rid the country of the menace of terrorism, according to the military’s statement.

RAWALPINDI: Four terrorists, including the notorious Kharji ring leader Batoor, were killed and three others injured in a targeted intelligence-based operation by Pakistani security forces in the Khyber district’s Bagh area, the military’s media wing, ISPR, confirmed on Thursday.

The operation, which took place on Wednesday, was initiated after reports of terrorist activity in the region. Batoor, a key leader of the banned group Fitnaal Khawarij, was among those eliminated. The ISPR statement further emphasized that a “sanitization operation” was underway to secure the area and eliminate any remaining terrorists.

Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to rid the country of the menace of terrorism, according to the military’s statement. This operation follows a recent uptick in militant activity, with three terrorists killed in separate engagements with security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 21-22.
